A military police officer killed his ex-wife and then committed suicide in the region of São Caetano do Sul. He was unhappy with the separation and would have gone to the house of the victim during the early hours of Monday.

The Policeman shot his ex-wife, 3 times in the face then shot himself in the head, after an argument between the two. Neighbors heard the shooting and called the police. When the agents team arrived at the scene the former couple was already dead.

I would say that the blood spatter on her right thigh and the large spatter on the back wall came from the initial discharge. The second and third shots came when she was likely laying down. As the larger blood spatter appears to originate lower and are bigger streaks than the initial spatter thus insinuating that the bullet struck blood concentrated either in her sinus cavities or on the surface. She likely did not suffer after the first shot. She was either unconscious or already deceased.

As for the male subject. He was sitting when he shot himself. It also appears that he fired with the gun in his mouth. The gun is laying between his legs, best guess was that he dropped it as soon as he fired. I don't see any trauma to his chin and if he had shot himself in the temple, the firearm would lay next to his body not between his legs. Plus there is no spatter from his wounds. If shot in the mouth at an upward angle, the bullet must travel through some dense structures in order to exit the cranium and produce a splatter pattern. This is absent.

He was probably angry (for what reason, I couldn't say). She was probably trying to seduce him and he brandished his weapon shot her in the facial area (probably the one in the eye as it appears to be gunpowder burns on that one) then she slumped. He shot her twice more. Then he sat on the ground and off'ed himself by placing the gun in his mouth and firing.

The only other scenario I can think of is that he was sitting the entire time in front of her. However, I think that is unlikely as her blood splatter would be more upwards. Especially on the initial shot and the second and third shots wouldn't have entered her face but more in her chin or lower cheeks area.
