There was a movie about Dorothy Stratten, title is "Star 80". Depressing movie, some DR fans might like it. Movie starts with some thugs hanging Paul Snider out of a 20 story window and he is vomiting on himself. Mariel Hemmingway plays Dorothy. The movie shows Hugh Hefner and his hangers on as low lifes.

In honor of my 80th post on DR.. I dedicate to you Dorothy .. you were a stunningly beautiful woman, too bad you had to hook up with that loser Paul Snider ! RIP Beautiful one !  The second pic is the house at 10881 W. Clarkson Rd. Los Angeles, CA, where Dorothy Stratten was killed. 3rd pic is of Paul Snider. There have been two movies made about the tragic life and death of Dorothy Stratten: Death of A Centerfold which starred Jamie Lee Curtis as Stratten; and Star 80 which featured Mariel Hemingway as Stratten and Eric Roberts as Snider. Star 80's climatic murder scene was shot in the actual house where the real murder/suicide took place. I recommend this latter film. Also a nice dedication to Dorothy's memory can be found here ..
