Re: Planes Struck By Birds
If there is one universal, immutable moral code I have witnessed among DR members it is the sanctity of the animal kingdom. You can point, laugh, make snide remarks and even plot disturbing forms of torture against complete strangers for crimes that don't even effect you. But the second you fail to demonstrate the required amount of remorse at the death of an animal, you unleash a shit storm of angry peta fanatics. I don't care- Birds suck |

Re: Planes Struck By Birds
Oh yeah. I was flying today and I was coming in to land, two birds were playing around and dove right in front of me. Scared the shit out of me because I wasn't expecting it and that Cessna 172 windscreen is like wet toilet paper with a bird strike.

Re: Planes Struck By Birds
I feel for the birds. Mankind has no fucking business in the air. It has long been the purview of the winged creatures and I fervently hope and pray that one day they will take it back. Mankind is a festering blight, constantly sniffing and digging around in places where we have no business. The world worked just fine for millions of years without us flying through the air. Let the birds have their kingdom back. Ugh, I hate humans and our constant need to encroach on the habitats of other creatures and then have the temerity to blame them for getting in our way. |
