Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
I have a pit bull, she is very loyal to my family , hell she is a part of our family. I cannot take her out without getting a comment from some stupid, uneducated person that she can "turn" and kill us, any dog can but because she is a pit I should watch. The cops in my old hometown go on a killing spree with pits, they killed one tied up in its own backyard because another dog came on its property and tried to hump him. The pit didn't even kill the other dog but the cops shot him anyways for no legit reason. They have killed 5 since last summer with only one being a reasonable kill. So if you live in Washington, Pa. keep your pits close to you, the cops got a bullseye drawn on them.

Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
damur, where the fuck did you ever get the idea that they were bred as NANNIES?? Are you out of your mind? They were bred for one thing...fighting. Thats it. They are unpredictable, aggressive, and most of the people who want one, are the exact people who shouldnt have one. I know everyone has stories about how their's is a wonderful dog, and how loveable, and oh, so gentle...FUCK THAT...these dogs may not be the breed that bites the most....but they KILL the most. That's what they do. They don't bite, and let go...with the intention of saying.."hey..dont do that", they bite, hold on and attack with the intention of killing its prey. I wish they were banned where I live too. Nasty ass dogs, that dont belong in civilized homes.

Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
You obviously are one of the clueless, uneducated people I speak of. I did not train my dog to kill or fight, she is as loving and loyal as they come and there are thousands more just like her. Pits are not killing machines, assholes train them to kill and they pay a huge price. My dog was a rescue dog, I saved her from a life of fighting (she would of had a short life), and thank God we got her before they started in on her. I wish people like you and the few illiterate cops who are shooting them, would do a little research and see how freakin stupid and heartless you really are.

Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
The vast majority of Pits do OK, but every time I see someone was attacked the dog had no history of violence. They were bred to kill, thus the loose skin and strong jaws. I don't have a problem with you having one, as long as you control it IE muzzle in public, stays in your yard. The difference is if a Pit goes out of control, it a bigger problem than a poodle. And Pits do snap sometimes. |

Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
=/ I'm not sure how to respond to this. I don't think this person deserved to be bit, but something tells me that a dog didn't just RANDOMLY attack him out of the blue.

Re: Pitbull Bite Wound
I hear what your saying and I am a responsible pet owner. BUT, all dogs are capable of snapping and I do know if a pit snaps or bites it is a bigger problem than another breed doing so. I just know they get a bad rap due to complete idiots breeding them just to make $$ by fighting them. I may be a fool but I love my dog and trust her, she has shown us nothing but love and loyalty. If I am wrong then shame on me, but I will never believe they are all bad.
