What happens when ejected, they’re just launched in the air and what goes must come down? I don’t see the benefit of that unless you’re above a large body of water and can get rescued quickly. I guess a pilot would rather take their chances launching through the air instead of plummeting the ground in a plane. Idk but the passenger was in better shape than pilot.

I used the scale in the CT of the passenger to work out that he's 150cm or 4' 11". The pilot looks a good bit shorter. They're probably related, father and son maybe. Must have been difficult for him to see over the instruments
