Generally speaking dentures won't be donated and will remain in the deceased's mouth. Providing they still fit, dentures will assist in closing the mouth and retaining an expression that is as relaxed and as natural as possible. Given they are moulded to fit they are probably not an ideal thing to donate anyway. We will regularly donate glasses to a very appreciative
charity, the families are always aware when this is done.If the deceased is for cremation it is asked that all glasses be taken off. Partially melted glass globules can stick to the bricks in the cremator and be difficult to remove.

Don't know about dentures, but many eyeglasses do get donated. When my Gpa passed, (A Masonic Lodge member), after the funeral, his eyeglasses were removed and donated.
