Actually, no it isn't. The problem is in the nature of religion. Pathetically few accept other points of view, and in such a situation conflict is inevitable. There is no problem with Islam, as there is no problem with Christianity, Judaism or any other. The problem lies in how individuals interpret it.

I can't speak of Oklahoma, but certainly the issues with the IRA have been made far worse by religion, or as I said previously, the interpretation of it. Historically, Ireland has been fractured by the inability of Catholics and Protestants to be able to live side by side (Israel/Palestine, anybody?), added to the other issues with the UK Government this has just compacted things. Religion is shit. They all advocate peace, but resort to violence when there is disagreement. |

I'm so tired of hearing and reading this shit! So, the hundreds of thousands if not millions of Islamofacists are giving Islam a bad name, right? What's that say about a religion where the base dogma can allow for the bastardization that so many are alleging? Islam is a religion of violence - read right from the pages of the Koran. |
