Re: Parked on His Chest!
The only way his body could have remained intact the way it did in these photos, was if the trailer was either empty or very lightly loaded. The drive axles of a tractor trailer like the one in the pictures, will carry only about 10,000 pounds - which is only 2500 pounds per set of duels. That is enough to asphyxiate a man with chest compression, break ribs and cause internal rupturing, but not enough to cause evisceration. Now, had the truck been fully loaded, however, there would have been significantly more weight on the drives. Legally, a truck can gross out at 80,000 pounds - this divided up into three areas from which weights are recorded:
If the truck was fully loaded and at legal gross, then, there would have been 8500 pounds on each set of the drives' duels. That would have been enough to cause catastrophic evisceration! Either way, heh, fun stuff to see, especially when it is a dirt bag like in this picture involved. Being a trucker, I run into these types from time to time, myself. I've often times thought to myself, how cool it would be to watch some of them get run over. Oh, and I've been to that self-same Pilot many times. It is on the I-10 about 75 miles west of Los Angeles. I've stopped there as many times as I have, because they have a Dairy Queen inside. I likes me DQs. Maybe next time I stop in, I'll be able to squish a gangbanger, and take some pictures of him for you! Oh, and here is my truck, by the bye. I drive flatbed! ![]() Oh, and I don't have duels on my truck, though. I have Super Singles! If they were to run over a guy, they'd steamroll him! |
