Was it wrong that when I saw the photo, first thing my mind did was wander off to the movie Platoon... 'did u see that fucking head come apart'... and that I wished this man was Vietnamese?

holy jeebus. you know when he realized his chute wasnt gone open he was like oh shit oh shit oh shit. i think in a situation like that i woulda had a heart attack in mid air and been dead already when i hit anyway

I've only been to one parachute accident, a 19-year-old Marine reservist. Investigation showed there was nothing dysfunctional with the deceased's chute, so the impact was understood to be the result of disorientation.
