Most likely mental pain as to physical, knowing you are going to die, no ifs, ands or buts. The physical was over rather quickly. I used to think people did not die instantly, but if you think about it, a boxer can knock another boxer flat out. I have had my brains just about literaly knocked out, but did not black out (my wife says I am too hardheaded, but it just was not my time to die), so it has variables no doubt. This poor soul was over with very, very quickly. I hope.

I agree with you. At the time I couldn't tell anyone that was what I thought, but I secretly always wondered how he would have looked. No one else knows except you now...hehehehehehe.
