A serious accident left three people dead on Saturday 11th October in the city of Terezinha, Pernambuco, Brazil.

Four people on two motorcycles were driving along when they both collided with each other. The 19 year old rider of the leading bike tried overtaking and collided head-on with another bike coming in the opposite direction. According to witnesses, they overtook a truck and as they did, they collided with another bike. A 17 year old was alive at the scene but succumbed to his injuries and died.

The 28 year old on the other bike died and the 15 year old passenger was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

It almost looks like these bodies are tossed on top of these bikes instead of flying away from the collision as a rebound. Perhaps they were going at a slow rate of speed?

I thought I had seen a fair amount of motorcycle accident photos here yet my recollection is they were not draped around the motorcycles.

Thoughts?
