Old Woman Found Mummified After Months
Hello everyone, this is my first post ever although I've been on documenting reality for years! My husband is a coroner and often sends me "pretty" pics from work (he knows I kinda like this stuff); a month ago he sent me some pics of an old woman who died alone in her house in Siena, Italy. She was found completely mummified approximately 3 months after her death, except for her face, rotten and eaten by worms. Hope you all enjoy! Cheers from Italy Elena  ·  ·  · |

She could have gone over while coming to or from the toilet. My grandmother fell when reaching hers but I was luckily right there to fetch an ambulance right away. They were very prompt and she's back home cared for. This could have been her, wgatever state she would have been found. That's really chilling. |

Is your husband sitting on a stash of exclusive content for us DR'ers to enjoy? You said he's a coroner... in Italy, I presume. Can you ask for his permission to share some of his photos on here?

yes,we're from Italy. As soon as I'll get his best cases I'll post them,stuff like this happens once/twice a month; he used to have his own photo archive with all the criminal cases but someone stole all his photos (not kidding,happens everyday in his job! this stuff is like gold...) he once told me that one of his first cases was a woman who shot herself who was found with her head blown, sorrounded by her cats eating her brains and the skull completely cleaned by them. Had many photos of it,would have been crazy to see!  Anyway, I'm gonna check my phone to see if I had some other pics I forgot!  |
