It may well be, I have no knowledge on guns + the only thing it said about this was that a rifle was used, so it could well be wrong.

Couldn’t agree more. I work with dying people. So many of them say they would end it now if they could. Yet we shove drugs into terminally sick people that just prolongs the inevitable. It’s awful. Laws need to change. And not meaning to be heartless but we’d save a fortune on medication!!! If someone is capable of choosing to die we shouldn’t force them to survive a bit longer!!!   |

Well said. Yes, the amount spent on medicating 'lost causes' could be spent on medical research or even paying medical staff the wages they deserve. I agree, if you're of sane mind, you should be allowed to end your life + retain some dignity doing so. If not in the right frame of mind, then the next of kin should be allowed a say.
