Old Lady Died After Slipping Off Her Roof
On 11th October 2018 in the Colonia Panamericana, an old lady died when she feel from a roof. 70 year old 'S' had gone up to the roof of her home to get rid of the rainwater. She lost her balance + went tumbling down to the ground, 10 metres below. The sound of her hitting the ground was loud enough for others to hear + people rushed to her. An ambulance was called, but despite arriving quickly, there wasn't anything that could be done + 'S' passed away from her injuries. Neighbours state that 'S' was a happy + hardworking lady. *I can only find 2 photos but think that this poor lady deserves her own thread!

Sad end for "S", but IMHO, anyone over the age of 60 that climbs a roof does so at their peril.  |

Poor auld wifie. Reminds me of Rod Hull (of Rod Hull and Emu fame). He fell aff the roof while adjusting the aerial when the fitba was on. Daft bugger. |
