OK, So Crash Helmets Don't Always Save Lives
30th August, Phnom Penh, Cambodia - A woman named Choub Sokunthea was hit by a truck whilst travelling along on her motorcycle. Unfortunately for her, the truck being far larger than her chosen mode of transport, the sudden meeting of the two vehicles caused Choub to spill her cranial contents onto the tarmac. I would usually make some comment about now as to there being no crash helmet being worn.  In this circumstance, I have to bite back my words, as helmet was clearly being utilised, however it sadly was not effective for Choub this time.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
