I would like to note that she has been dead since 2016. She was beaten to death by a Syrian woman and her Lebanese husband, and then stuffed her into a freezer. They then left Kuwait in 2016 after an arrest warrant was issued against them for counterfeiting. Also, a court order was issued to expel them from their apartment. That is when the authorities discovered her dead body.

Justice for her :(
That cold may have preserved her

I would think that it is not a widely recognized acronym.
You would think wrong. There are over ten million Filipinos working outside of their home country, both legal and illegal. Every Filipino in the Philippines, 105,000,000 of them, know exactly what an OFW is.

And OFW is not an acronym. Look it up.

I'm not sure that a term common in the Philippines necessarily translates to being all that understandable on this board.

Any more than random lines in Swahili or random phrases in Polish could be expected to be universally understood on this board.
