NPA Terrorists Killed in Leyte, Philippines
Two NPAs were killed in an encounter with 78th IB soldiers in the Philippines. Two suspected NPA terrorists were killed in Sitio Tugas Brgy Hilapnitan Baybay City, Leyte morning at 9am. After more than an hour of battle between the two groups, 30 NPA terrorists retreated after two of their colleagues were killed. Captured were the two firearms of the dead terrorists and several personal belongings and meals.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

It's really neat how they improvised the stretcher. One mighty cane pole & some leafy vegetation for binders plus two tough guys for transport. |

No virgins here. The NPA is the military wing of the Philippine Communist Party, a strongly Maoist group for whom religion is anathema.
