Nine Bank Robbers Killed After Shoot-Out With Police
A joint operation between Civil Police of São Paulo and the Federal Highway Police of Minas Gerais ended with nine dead bandits during an exchange of gunfire between police and criminals in the city of Itamonte in Sul de Minas region in the early morning of Saturday, 22nd of February. According to the Military Police, a group of 25 offenders were being monitored for over two months by the São Paulo police. They are suspected of other robberies in Minas Gerais and theft of equipment. The bandits left the state of São Paulo in the early morning, in five cars: a Honda Civic, an Eco Sport, one Duster and a Palio. However, when criminals arrived at the Plaza Padre Francisco Mira in downtown Itamonte, around 5:30 am, they were surprised by a group of civilians and military officers. There was an exchange of gunfire between the suspects and the police and with bandits arrested. Four other criminals were shot inside the Honda Civic and five of them were hit by gunfire on a police chase. Overall, nine bandits died instantly. A civil police officer was also injured, but not at risk of dying. |

Re: Nine Bank Robbers Killed After Shoot-Out With Police
I wonder if there are any good Brazilian producers willing to make movies about these bandits? Good Movies like Tropa De Elite(Elite Squad) and City of God to name a few.
