1. On the evening of 3rd March 2019 in Amukoko, 20 year old A.D. was shot by 'S', a policeman.

'S', along with his colleagues had arrived in the area after a report of a street fight. The police officers fired gunshots to announce their presence. In the panic, 'A', a tiler + father of 2, rushed to his wife's shop to help her pack up before going to safety. 'S' assumed that 'A' was one of those involved in the fight + shot at him. 'A's wife, 'L', was shot in the chest.

The couple were rushed to different hospitals. 'L' survived her injury but 'A' died a few hours later.






2. On the night of 19th March 2019 in Auchi, 23 year old E.A. was shot dead.

'E', a National Diploma Accounting student, was relaxing outside his home with some friends when the gunmen approached. They ordered everyone into their rooms where they robbed them of money + mobile phones. For some reason, they took aim at 'E' + shot him. He died on the spot.






3. On 7th March 2019 in Owerri, 22 year old N.O. was shot dead. 'N', who was a hairstylist, was a very popular young man.








4. On 2nd May 2019 in Lagos, a man was crushed to death when a container fell from a truck onto him whilst he was walking down the road.





5. On the morning of 12th April 2019 in Rivers State, a young lady died in a road accident when she collided with a bus whilst on her motorbike.







6. On 29th April 2019 in Owerri, the body of a young lady was found.







7. On the afternoon on 15th April 2019 in Makurdi, M.H. was shot dead.
