Re: Niger 6 French Humanitarian Workers + Their 2 Guides Murdered
Apparently it seems the group that attacked was connected to IS. Their newspaper (al nada) claimed it and had this photo of the 2 French men and blurred out women kneeling before they were killed (you can tell by the outfit they are wearing). Next to the man with the grey shirt is what looks like a pair of glasses. The woman with the flower tattoo on her arm seems to be the only person in the group with glasses, and so I'm thinking the blurred person next to the grey shirt man is the woman with the black tanktop, and on top of the photo is the woman with the blue jeans. The other photo is the back of their car with visible bullet holes. Which to me seems that they were shot at while moving (can explain why the men on the alive photos have blood on them and the woman with the tank top had bullet wounds other than the fatal head wound) None of the articles I've read actually described how the attack happened but imo the African guides and one of the woman was killed in the beginning of the ambush, which was why there were no execution photos of them. On of the woman ran and had her throat slit, while the 2 women and 2 men left were shot at the back of the head. But maybe if one of you guys have access to this Siteintelgroup article (subscription), you can find out what actually happened. |
