Actually, as far as deaths go, hers wasn't too bad, it was over for her pretty darn quickly...still pretty shitty to be murdered by your own government just because you are expressing your political discontent...

That's pretty much the norm in Iran now, if you don't like the current political situation you are branded as a traitor and you are either shot or jailed... I have even heard the the torture of some people.
