Be funny if all those bullets were Pink Bullets
The only "pink bullets" that come to my mind are something I'm pretty sure the National Guard doesn't transport in .50cal ammo cans. (But they might transport the batteries for them that way. )

with all that ammunitions flying about, i cant fathom how one of those missed hitting the primer cap of another and setting off.

Even if it did, it wouldn't "shoot" the bullet as if it were in a gun. It would blow up more like a firecracker.

To shoot the bullet, it requires compression/confinement on all sides except for the direction you want the bullet to go. With out that compression, the energy goes in all directions and dissipates the energy transmitted to the bullet.
