Nataly Michel Rodriguez: Enamorandonos Contestant Found Strangled
On May 21, 2019, Nataly Michel Rodriguez Romero, 25, was discovered strangled inside her apartment in the Venustiano Carranza borough of Mexico City. She had appeared weeks before as a contestant on TV Azteca's dating program Enamorandonos. Neighbours alerted authorities after noticing a foul odour and had previously contacted police over a loud dispute in the apartment, though officers left after receiving no response. Prosecutors treated the death as a femicide and identified her partner, referred to in reporting only as Luis Arturo, as the likely perpetrator. He was still a fugitive years later, with no arrest reported.

Nop. Hanging causes the tongue to protrude, because the noose is pressing upwards, squeezing the tongue out. Strangling is different. Ligature pressure is applied straight across the neck, so the tongue stays in place. |
