Date Body Found: March 27, 1961 Location Found: Bibb County, Alabama Estimated Age Range: 14-17 Years Sex: Male Race / Ethnicity: White / Caucasian Height: 5' 6"(66 inches), Measured Weight: 120 lbs, Measured Circumstances of Recovery: Unidentified hitchhiker - Bibb County residents were shocked to hear reports about a 14-17 year old Caucasian male hitchhiker who died in a crash when the vehicle he was being escorted in collided with the bridge rail and plunged into the Cahaba River near River Bend. The young boy drowned. On his person besides the clothes he was wearing, was a Timex wrist watch, a carrying bag with several shirts and pants, a brown plastic wallet without any identification, and a pack of Pall Mall cigarettes with a South Carolina tax stamp. The autopsy revealed that the unknown boy might have walked with a slight limp. On a few articles of the clothing were cleaning and laundry tags, the numbers of which were D743, or A743, A533, 2166 G/Z or 2166 G/2. A pack of Pall Mall cigarettes with a South Carolina tax stamp. Jewelry: Timex wrist watch, Miraculous Medal of the Immaculate Conception tied around his neck with cotton twine. A man's ruby ring with the inscription "United States army" was found in the car and possibly belonged to the decedent. 3. Date Body Found: November 22, 1969 Location Found: Easton, Maryland Estimated Age Range: 20-29 Years Sex: Male Race / Ethnicity: Black / African American Height: 5' 9"(69 inches), Measured Weight: 155 lbs, Measured Circumstances of Recovery: The subject was shot by police as he and four other men attempted to rob the Holiday Inn in Easton, Maryland. The four other suspects, according to the information from The Sun newspaper were: Joseph Queen (24) of Philadelphia; Howard D. Queen (32) of Philadelphia and Royal Oak (Talbot County, Maryland); Charles H. Denshields (24) of Easton; and Charles R. West (23) of Washington (likely refers to Washington, D.C.). Ages of the other suspects refer to their ages at the time of the attempted robbery on 11/22/1969. Computer checks in the United States, Canada, and Interpol have been unsuccessful in locating any missing persons that fit the victims description.
