Date Body Found: July 19, 1992 Location Found: Los Angeles County, California Estimated Age Range: 12-17 Years Circumstances of Recovery: On 7/19/1992 @ 2115 the decedent was standing @ the street corner when a vehicle drives up and the occupants of the vehicle allegedly made a "gang" challenge to the decedent and another person who was standing with him. The occupants of the vehicle then opened fire with one or more weapons, striking the decedent. Decedent taken to a hospital where he died. Hair Color: Brown Head Hair Description: Brown   3. Date Body Found: July 19, 1992 Location Found: Los Angeles County, California Estimated Age Range: 13-18 Years Circumstances of Recovery: On 07/19/1992 @ 2045 hours the decedent and another victim were standing at a bus stop when a vehicle drives by, someone inside the vehicle yells out a gang slogan and shots are fired from the vehicle striking the decedent and the other victim. Both victims are transporrted to the hospital, decedent is pronounced dead on 07/20/1992 @ 2150 hours. Hair Color: Black Head Hair Description: Black   4. Possible names: Luis A Vásquez and Luis Antonio Lopez. Possibly from Mexico.      5. Date Body Found: March 24, 1976 Location Found: Nashville, Tennessee Estimated Age Range: 14-17 Years Sex: Female Race / Ethnicity: White / Caucasian, Hispanic / Latino Height: 5' 2"(62 inches) , Estimated Weight: 120 lbs, Estimated Circumstances of Recovery: Victim was found in the Harpeth River by a fisherman. Her left "fang" tooth was oddly positioned and may heighten the chance of positive identification. Two surgical type scars on her abdomen area and old scars (possibly cigarette burns) on both arms. On the rear of the photograph, "Little Charlie" was written. Facility is to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Investigated by PD, with no leads.   7. Date Body Found: January 7, 2009 Location Found: Cochise County, Arizona Estimated Age Range: 18-99 Years Sex: Male Race / Ethnicity: Hispanic / Latino Height: 5' 2"(62 inches) , Measured Weight: 120 lbs, Measured Circumstances of Recovery: Found on trailhead missing shoes and jacket. Likely undocumented border crosser. Hair Color: Black Head Hair Description: short black hair Left Eye Color: Brown Right Eye Color: Brown Scar/mark: Scars: on chest: one measuring 1.5 x 0.6 cm and the other, a few centimeters below measuring 2.2 x 0.8 cm. Birthmarks: on the inner portion of the lower part of the right thigh, there is a 3.0 x 0.7 cm birthmark Accessories: One red and white hair comb, Money: total of US $170.00 & MX Pesos 20.00 Clothing: Pants: one pair green "Dockers" slacks; one pair "Levi 550" blue jeans, one red leather belt. A passerby picked him up and drove him to the Casa Grande Regional Medical Center where he then died. The group apparently had nicknamed the decedent "Chapo" and was known to law enforcement as Crisoforo Peralta Leon, Lazaro Rodriguez Zanora, and Miguel Allenda Modesto. He self provided Mexico as country of birth. Recent fingerprint match to the above alias names. None of these names have been verified. Hair Color: Brown Head Hair Description: Thick, 3.5 inches in length Facial Hair Description: 1/4 inch mustache and beard in a goatee distribution Left Eye Color: Brown Right Eye Color: Brown Accessories: Wallet containing US currency and Mexican currency. Round mirror with a photo on the back. Green lighter. Nail clipper with depiction of Virgin Mary. Green foil medicine packet, "Neo Melubria". Clothing: Light colored striped collared short sleeved shirt. Light colored briefs. Dark colored denim pants, "Silver Crash" brand, size 30. Black belt, "Boss" brand. Simone,  You could seriously do a dedicated section on border crossers. The Arizona/Mexico border doesn't have that pesky Rio Grande to drown in. The heat is the big killer. Most border crossings occur in the cooler months because of the heat. Doesn't stop 'em from trying in summer though. |
