Nameless III- Extra Gooey Crusty Edition
In response to the recent drop in Brazilian gore accessibility (which probably makes up a good 40% of the Death Pictures section) I decided to dig out some older NAMus cases from my personal collection to help keep pace. =) There's some mighty good resolution on many of these images. I highly recommend viewing them full size to appreciate just how crusty, flaky, gooey and allover grody this set is ![]() Remains were located a (previously) burned abandoned townhouse by a clean up crew. According to the FDNY, a fire occurred at the house in May of 2012. The house was recently sold and was being cleaned out when the remains located within a suitcase on the second floor. (Damn I wish they had more photos then this ) To aid in identification, the M.E took the liberty to slice these right off the corpse, flesh and all. ![]() Found in an abandoned apartment in Newark, New Jersey Apparently homeless living behind gas station in Dallas,Texas The deceased was found unresponsive in a desert area by USBP in known migrant corridor. Re: Nameless III- Extra Gooey Crusty Edition
I hadn't really thought about it from that angle, but you're definitely right. They aren't always available either. The second a body is identified they delete everything in the case file and will no longer disclose information to the public. I learned that the hard way when I lost two cases because I bookmarked the pages instead of saving them to my hard drive ![]() Now I just save every damn picture/summary I come across (DR worthy or not) 'just in case' 'cause that sucked ![]() On the other hand, that's actually a good thing; it means more people have managed to find identify their loved ones. I've read a good deal of interviews after a successful match, and almost every single time families stressed the identification brought a tremendous amount of closure when they learned they could bring their loved ones home and finally let them rest in peace. Quite the tear jerkers . |

Re: Nameless III- Extra Gooey Crusty Edition
Ugh. Homeless wretches are vile and filthy enough when they're breathing. They make for some extra-disgusting corpses. ![]() Thanks for the pics, though, in any event. I've been reading that NamUs database for years but never really even thought about posting them up here. Good on you for gettin'r done. |
