Kelly Art lines or Arterial lines are I.V. lines put directly in to a main Artery on a very sick or injuried person. There perpose is to give us in the medical field a large reliable site through which we can quickly push meds and fluids in to the critically ill or injuried person to help get them stabel as quickly as we can. Sometimes you will also hear it called a central venous line. In either case if you have got one your having a bad day. |
