Yeah, in Thailand and some other asian countries they do crime autopsies at the scene. I've seen photos of the removal of hair, and even peeling the scalp back to examine the skull to take the crime scene photos with the ruler next to the bashed skull, in a case when a lady was killed with a hammer. I guess it saves time or maybe they don't even have any decent facilities to do an autopsy in anyway. It's pretty foul, but I guess they gotta do what they gotta do
