Myanmar -- Teenage Woman Shot Dead During Protest
Deng Jia Xi, also known as "Angel" and Ma Kyal Sin, was shot dead in Mandalay, Myanmar. She was protesting against the recent military coup that ended Myanmar's transition to democracy. Angel was 19-year-old. The following photos in this post show her last fight, in which she wore a t-shirt saying "everything will be OK". yeah, makes sense. but maybe the artist could have changed the object in her hand to something less...corporate? idk. the corporate soda pop in her hand in the tattoo kind of lessens its impact. in my opinion.
