The picture of the bloodied spectacles and watch was rather poignant.

A country’s military gone rogue is a complex issue. No foreign parties can intervene without fighting an open war. The death toll will be high. If nobody intervenes, this evil regime will ‘win’.

Maybe the conflict will end if someone systematically assassinates the military leaders involved? Just saying.
