MVA, Car Versus Pedestrian
Needless to say, she didn't make it. 19 year old girl. Left her in a bit of a state, too. Messed up her hair, soiled her jeans, serious case of road rash, her arsecrack popped out, and goddam I don't think the leg is supposed to bend that way above the knee. Amazed that the backpack wasn't lifted by the scene discoverers or responders. :P |

Re: MVA, Car Versus Pedestrian
Yeah, the article wasn't very descriptive so I'm not entirely sure wtf happened. That looks like more road rash than an impact would produce, but there isn't any bloody skid behind the body. Obviously she has a major head injury that bled out (a lot) after she landed prone in that spot. Maybe what I am credited as road rash is internal hemorrhage from organs getting banged up in the impact. |

Re: MVA, Car Versus Pedestrian
Certainly possible. Usually my info is pretty reliable, but I only saved photos from the site downtime and not the stories themselves, which means I was relying on translated memory for most of the details of my backlog. So it is certainly plausible that I effed up the age.
