In Sánchez Ramírez province, Dominican Republic, the body of 18-year-old Yennely A.D.H. was found dead in the bushes of a farm. A 21-year-old woman, Ammy H.P., who was reportedly in a relationship with Yennely, turned herself in to the police.

Based on CCTV footage, it was found that Ammy had purchased ammonia, a knife, and a towel. Police investigations also noted that Ammy had bought petrol, likely with the intention of burning Yennely's body. However, unable to locate any matches, Ammy was forced to abandon this part of the plan.

It is believed that Yennely noticed Ammy opening the bottle of ammonia, and when she attempted to confront her, Ammy began stabbing her. Stab wounds found on her hands and feet suggested that Yennely attempted to defend herself.

After handing herself in, Ammy confirmed that she was in a relationship with Yennely, and that the reason for the murder was an unspecified argument between the two.
