Fucking Argentina. Here's the gist of the story:

This 17 year old girl was working in a convenience store and was robbed by a man armed with a pistol. Even though she handed the money over immediately, he still shot her in the chest before riding off on (you guessed it) a motorcycle.

Police were called immediately, but took longer than 20 minutes to arrive to aid the girl. She was alive the entire time, bleeding out on the floor of the convenience store where she worked. By the time the emergency crews arrived, she was beyond hope.

So the public backlash to the tardy cops and the general lack of protection in the area was to go totally fucking batshit and start rioting. An angry mob assembled and destroyed the police station, dozens of cars, and uncounted amounts of property. Because of COURSE the best way to increase police protection for your area is to get martial law declared.

I fucking hate angry mobs. However much of 'man's inhumanity to man' we see daily on this site, nothing gets my goat like an angry mob. The very epitome of mankind at its worst, reduced to a primal, reactionary body of rage with no sense of scope, propriety, justice or fairness. 'Ordinary' citizens so consumed by bloodlust that they destroy everything around them entirely without reason. Sorry, rant over.

Anyway, all I do have is a photo of the dead girl while alive and a photo of her body being carted out of the convenience store. I am a bit surprised by the lack of blood, given that she took a chest wound and was allegedly bleeding out for over 20 minutes before the photo was taken. In spite of that, I don't spy any claret on her shirt, though the lighting and angle aren't great. I studied the photo(s) pretty stringently looking for blood and all I saw were piss stains on her daisy dukes.

Still, she must be dead or they wouldn't be shredding up the town

The poor girl probably bled out into her chest: hemothorax. Hence the lack of blood on the outside of her body. Damn shame all around.
