The way I take that rule is that we are not allowed to post images or video specifically of an animals being tortured, those animals were already killed and is relevant to his crime.

Think again. Dead animals, from various causes often involving humans, are all over the site. The rule is, obviously, loosely interpreted.

Not really, the guy has been using that tool all his life. I wouldn't expect him to use any other means after witnessing how effective it is at ending life after all those years.
