I don't understand how or why there would be a couple of loose 7.62 x 39 projectiles just laying there.

I cannot imagine any scenario for this. (Were the policia planting evidence? )

The cartel gunmen are like tin gods around unarmed civilians. Interesting how things change when they run into equally determined...and armed...foes.

I still find it odd that when the cartels and army stand off that it isn't always the cartel being scrapped off the ground with shovels.

Truly amazing the corruption in the Mexican government and the power the cartel wields over the government. They even have their own men within the Army.
