A motorcyclist was killed on an urban road in Phnom Penh on the night of July 24 or early July 25, 2024. The crash was said to have occurred in Khan Kamboul district. His head was crushed, and brain matter was thrown several metres along the carriageway. His motorcycle lay beside his body as traffic continued to pass. A heavy truck was stopped on the right shoulder, but its involvement was not established. The motorcyclist was reported to have been run over by a truck whose driver fled. The body was later covered with a white plastic bag.
