the way his body is shaped looking from the side leads me to beleive he didnt live. ok he's wearing the helmet. but what speed you have to have to mess up that bike so much and make a hole in a truck with your head.? The trauma to the chest at that speed would kill him. look, he hit the truck with his chest too.  |

correct sir, he did not live thru that. killed on impact, hit the truck at ~120mph. helmets are amazing at reducing injries, but theres always instances where they're useless.. had he hit the truck at 15mph, the helmet mighta helped heep his face and head from getting fucked up as the bike bounced off the IC bumper and threw him into the trailer then onto the ground. i've had my share of crashing.. my helmet has helped every time. shit like THAT, however.. nah. between the weight of his bike ( a '05-ish looking kawi 636) and his weight and speed, the math come out to a stupid amount of accumulated force. |
