i use to not wear a helmet in my scooter rides along the highways. i use to think i could hear incoming vehicles and see more of the surroundings without it. i used to think it was safer when i could hear more and see more while driving and i still do. But i got into the habit of wearing them when the law got tough and apprehend/fines anyone caught without helmet while driving.
