Motorcycle Accident in Chicago Cleaves Man in Half
Happened in 2015. Parents found out they were dead from the pictures before the police told them and were pissed. God bless squids for their infinite content. Cheers |

Re: Motorcycle Accident in Chicago Cleaves Man in Half
Happened in my area so I looked it up, here is the story: "Two people on a motorcycle were killed in a four-vehicle crash on the Eisenhower Expressway early Sunday in the western suburbs. The gray 2010 BMW motorcycle was traveling with a group of motorcycles “at a high rate of speed” on I-290 near the Mannheim Road exit a few minutes before 2 a.m. when the BMW lost control, ran off the road to the left, and struck the concrete median, according to Illinois State Police. When the motorcycle struck the barrier, both the driver and passenger were ejected onto the westbound lanes of the expressway, police said. The motorcycle also struck a light pole, which fell into the eastbound lanes, police said. Three cars — a green 1996 Mercedes, a gray 2012 Toyota and a blue 2015 Toyota— heading eastbound tried to avoid the striking the light pole, but were unable to and crashed. The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old man from Crystal Lake, was not identified pending notification of his family, police said. His passenger, 21-year-old Miranda A. Valles of Downers Grove, was also killed in the crash, police said. No one else was hurt. Traffic was blocked on the expressway in both directions between Mannheim Road and Cicero Avenue until just before 6:30 a.m., police said." The Eisenhower Expressway has traffic on it even at 2 am. There are lots of potholes and bumps due to our previous Irish mayor's family owned businesses using cheap paving materials and pocketing the money. They could have hit a hole or been cut off by another driver. She was from Downers Grove (home of Emo Phillips), he was from Crystal Lake. I had a very competent but asshole boss from Crystal Lake, I never saw him because he was running a small airline as a side business with leased turbo-props, this was around 1994. |

I like blaming the Irish mayor who embezzled infrastructure funds instead of reckless driving and impact at a high rate of speed resulting in complete transection of the driver. One of the risks of driving a motorcycle at high rates of speed is this. Everyone knows that yet people still do it for fun and living life on the edge. |
