Mother and Young Daughter Murdered
Woman in her late 20's and her daughter (identified by various sources as 9, 10, or 12 depending) were discovered in her home, murdered in cold blood. Cause of death on the mother was asphyxiation from suffocation, as her face was wrapped in several sheets of clear plastic, obscuring all of her airways. The daughter, who was located about 20 feet away, had been strangled to death with a scarf. A cell phone was lying about six inches from her hand with a cracked screen, indicating that she probably tried to call for help before she was overtaken and choked out. No suspects or motives for the crime were mentioned. The article I read did say that the woman's husband worked in the United States and was out of the country at the time, unable to be reached.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
