Mother + Son Murdered Within an Hour of Eachother
On 17th April 2018 in Manaus, 40 year old Regina de Azevedo Leal was murdered. Regina, who was a prostitute, was stabbed to death inside her apartment, she had 30 wounds to her chest. The suspects are 3 men who had been taking drugs with her. It's thought that she may have been killed over a drug debt. *Another article states that her ex-boyfriend was seen leaving her home shortly before her body was found.* Apparently, Regina dealt drugs at her apartment + had been arrested the previous year.   Less than an hour after Regina's murder, her 19 year old son, Marcelo Azevedo Leal was found dead. 2 men in a car had approached him + shot him twice. It's not known if the 2 murders are related.    |
