Mother and Son Killed in a Car Accident
11/30/2015 State of Pernambuco, Brazil A woman and her son died in an accident at night on this Monday on a highway between the cities of São Joaquim do Monte and Agrestina. Police said five people were in the car that caused the accident. The driver, 23 year-old woman and her 8 year-old son did not survive their injuries and died on the spot. The other passengers, her husband and other two children, were taken to the hospital of Recife. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene. He suffered no injury. It is not so rare in Brazil. There are even mothers, who have given birth at the age of 14 and younger.
