More Pictures From Inside My Mortuary
Just a handful more photos and a short video clip of some of my undertakings. Again nothing overly remarkable, just something different to share. Photos include another disinterment, buried 25-26 years, Tissue gas, desquamation (skin slip) 2 x suicide, Carbon monoxide poisoning, skydiving accident, gas heater explosion, basic partial skull reconstruction and a helicopter accident. Video clip is of me raising the right internal jugular vein and the accompanying right common carotid artery. This is usually our first port of call in terms of preferred injection sites, although the deceased’s condition, as well as other factors may change this. Was at an awkward angle trying to raise because of the camera. Eventually got there. I do a lot of restricted cervical injections, which means I will raise both the left and right carotids, tie off the left and inject down the right side so that the body only will receive the selected embalming fluids, this way I can inject the arm legs and torso with specific, (condition related) normally stronger fluids. This way I have more control over the deceased’s head, injecting up both left and right sides with again specific (softer) fluids, often lanolin based or with humectant additives to help maintain moisture levels, and a degree of suppleness. Look after people’s heads, they shouldn’t be as hard as concrete! Even with longer term holds. Thanks for your time I appreciate any feedback, I am certainly not an expert in this particular field, I accept that some people will not be impressed by my post (like last time) That’s ok, I have done as much as I possibly can in terms of editing these photos to ensure anonymity. That’s all I can do apart from not posting at all. |
