Mine is a long and winding road, from Protestant fundamentalism through agnosticism to Calvinism then heavily into philosophy (which I taught for several years) leading back to a form of belief that is really not denominational. This isn't the place for tracing that path. After all this thread is about a specific incident and its aftermath, and folks here are liable to complain when it becomes a forum for lengthy off topic discussions. I can't say that I blame them, so I'll call a halt to my theological musings here.

The people who did this were terrorized by the unprovoked bombings of their friends and family members. Terrorized people do crazy things. If you bomb a group of people for no good reason you can expect that your family might get slaughtered, not the fault of the people who slaughtered them but as an extension of the pointless violence that you started.    |
