The body was found at noon on Monday in an area surrounding Chiquimitío, a community located some 10 km northeast of Morelia, according to the Attorney General of the State
Sergio Gomez was the lead singer for K-Paz de la Sierra. He went missing on Dec 2 2007 and was found dead. Police are investigating the case.
It appears that Sergio Gomez was tortured and Stangled to death in Morelia, a city in the western state of Michoacan, shortly after his concert.
