i've been looking regularly at namus and i have a question. why so many unidentified bodies in new york and puerto rico?

My god, so many in this category are haunting. They can look mentally challenged (because they are!!), just so hollow, just so sunken. So dry, so flat - often literally with the weight on their faces when found.

I think the sheets even help the atmosphere! They're literally submerged into oblivion giving us all one last glimpse.
