Moose Killed By Car In Maine, USA
A driver survived after he slammed into a moose in Maine, and jarring photos show the unusual accident's aftermath. The Hyundai Accent plowed into the animal on July 3rd, 2014 near Monson. The animal crashed through the car's windshield and twisted into its front seats, Portland's WMTW reported. The driver required hospital treatment but was not seriously injured. The moose died at the scene. A passerby, took photos of the wreckage after the shocking accident. There are about 500 crashes between cars and moose each year in Maine. That was one lucky escape for the driver...the passenger would be dead though if there had been one.
