Mom Sophea Kills Her Father and Her Sister Mom Sophat, Kampot, Cambodia 2015
A 40-year-old woman killed her 78-year-old father and 58-year-old elder sister at about 11.30pm on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Trapeang Chrey village in Kampong Trach district, Kampot province, Cambodia. She attacked them with long and short knives and axes, beheading her father and dismembering her sister. Local reporting identified the woman as Mom Sophea and her sister as Mom Sophat. Police said the violence followed an argument between the woman and her mother. Her father and sister were attacked when they tried to intervene, while her mother was unharmed. The woman was arrested at about 8am the next morning and sent to court. The deputy provincial police chief said residents and local authorities described her as mentally ill and said she had long caused trouble in the family, but she had been arrested and referred to the courts. April 14 is Khmer New Year. |

Mental illness does exist, but how it's measured is questionable. I'm an intelligent psychopath, so technically I can live out my dreams and blame it on mental illness.
