Mixed Death Photo Set Including a Leaked Cleveland School Shooting Photo
Several unrelated fatalities, occurring at different locations, are involved rather than one deceased person at a single scene. One case was identified as the Cleveland school shooting on October 10, 2007, while the remaining cases are unidentified. At SuccessTech Academy, 14-year-old student Asa **** wounded two teachers and two students by shooting them before killing himself with a gunshot to the head. All four victims survived, leaving **** as the only fatality. Before anyone raised the possibility of a school shooting, an observer had noticed his Marilyn Manson concert shirt. At the scene, Cleveland police officer Walter Emerick used his mobile phone to record the body and forwarded the result to other people. A radio station later placed it on its website, after which it circulated online. The mayor called the disclosure "extremely inappropriate," and Walter Emerick received an eight-day suspension. Its availability resulted entirely from that leak. · · · · · |
