That's really sad. Alot of her footage showed ordinary citizens and how they have to live in the carnage and rubble created by this civil war. Ordinary people are suffering, and nobody would know they existed if not for journalists like this. She reported on the people, filmed children in the warzone and gave them a voice. If you don't understand why that matters, nobody can tell you.

She's dead and those suffering children and adults are still dying in droves. They told her the same thing they've been telling every journalist for a year now. "We're fucking dying here and no one will help us!"

And still no one's helping. Did you get off your ass and send money when you saw Yamamoto's footage? Quit your job and book a flight to go hand out food and water? Did you pick up a rifle and start shooting at soldiers? Build a bomb shelter?
